I BELIEVE by Ned Godleads

I still believe in a nation,
Even though it's not mine,
I still hope in its measure,
Even though there's no dime.

I see talents and gifts,
But people don't know what they possess,
I see young bright stars,
They just end up shining dim.

Resources are immerse there
But they've turned it into waste
Vegetations and landmass here
They don't use it for the right taste

But I believe in Nigeria,
A home where eagles thrive
I believe in Nigeria,
Where wisdom makes people crave
I believe in Nigeria,
Where entrepreneurs are born ,
I believe in Nigeria,
The giant of Africa.
