Sunset. A poem by Ned Godleads

Lights flickers and slowly dims
Calmness envelops the world
Like a blanket,
Darkness spreads it's wings
The rays begins to fluctuate
The heat disappears,
The cloud is painted in beautiful gold
It simmers and laughs at the things below
With so much radiance that one would wonder
It's view is like a world without pain
Soon the sun returns home
To it's lonely confines
And darkness settles upon the earth
Like a thick impenetrable cloth.
